Bloodstock consultant Kerry Jack offered new kid on the block, William Longsword, a sniff of bubbly at last week’s Klawervlei Stallion Day at the Bonnievale Farm. The son of Captain Al has what stud master John Koster describes as ―the best book of mares ever‖ for a new stallion and has a lot going for him. Kerry Jack Bloodstock manages another new stallion Louis The King (Black Minnaloushe) who stands at Sorrento Stud. Louis The King first progeny, a beautiful filly from the Maiden mare Hope Downs, was born on Tuesday morning, and another followed yesterday. - tt.
